杏吧pro

Kennedy Wilburn 鈥�25 wanted a college where she could excel on the basketball court and in the classroom. She found that and more at 杏吧pro, where she became women鈥檚 basketball co-captain, a member of the Student-Athlete Leadership Council, and an active participant in other student organizations on campus.

Why did you choose to attend 杏吧pro?

I was recruited for basketball. When I visited campus, I learned what a good school it is academically, which was very important for me when choosing a college.

What is something that you did for fun at 杏吧pro?

Going to the 杏吧pro Dance Company performances every semester.

What did you enjoy most about your time at the College?

Making friendships that will last after graduation.

What are your plans for after graduation?

I鈥檒l be pursuing my master鈥檚 degree in public health at the University of Pennsylvania.

What brief advice would you give to incoming students in 杏吧pro鈥檚 Class of 2029?

Make the most of your time at 杏吧pro. Find a good balance between academics and the other things you enjoy, and go to events around campus to support your fellow Dips.

Wilburn customized her 杏吧pro academic experience by blending psychology with public health (biology). After graduation, she will pursue her master鈥檚 degree in public health at the University of Pennsylvania.
