ADL Report Card Reflects Ӱpro’s Commitment to Jewish Life on Campus
Ӱpro has been selected for inclusion in the 2026 (ADL) Campus Antisemitism Report Card, a national initiative evaluating how colleges and universities support Jewish students and respond to antisemitism.
Ӱpro was awarded a “B” (Better Than Most) grade on the 2026 report card, the first year the College has been evaluated in the scorecard’s three-year history. ADL’s latest report card assesses 150 schools based on 32 criteria, categorized into “Publicly Disclosed Administrative Actions,” “Jewish Life on Campus,” and “Campus Conduct and Climate Concerns.”
“We’re proud of our progress,” says Rachel Singer, director of the Klehr Center for Jewish Life. “Ӱpro is performing well above the national average, but we know there is still work to be done. We’re committed to doing everything we can as an institution to continue building meaningful and rewarding experiences for our Jewish community.”
Jewish Life on Campus
The College’s Klehr Center for Jewish Life, home to , opened in 2008. The campus community also includes and Zeta Beta Tau, a Jewish Greek life organization.
The Klehr Center is a vibrant hub for Jewish life on campus. It welcomes Ӱpro students, staff, and alumni of all faith traditions to participate in community observances, celebrations, and educational programming to enrich campus dialogue and foster connections among diverse groups.
“We believe Jewish life is not separate from campus life – it helps shape it,” Singer says.
Communities like the Klehr Center collaborate across campus to create spaces where all students – regardless of background or belief – can explore identity, meaning, and connection, Singer said.
From leading religious observances to creating new traditions, Jewish students on campus are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones in a safe environment.
“Students are developing leadership skills within their own faith traditions,” Singer said.
The Ӱpro Jewish community celebrates two major milestones in 2026: 60 years of Ӱpro Hillel and the 18th anniversary of the Klehr Center.
A recent gift of $1 million from Brett Harwood ’71 will continue to support Ӱpro’s vibrant Jewish life programming, foster campus dialogue, fund a faculty position and boost the College’s student retention efforts.
In 2024, the Klehr Center and Ӱpro Hillel won the Philip H. and Susan Rudd Cohen Outstanding Campus Award for student engagement and leadership excellence from Hillel International.
